Sometimes we photographers slip up and don’t find the very best spot to get our best sunset shot. Sometimes it’s a new area and location or we don’t know the lay of the land, sometimes we get distracted shooting other subjects and get so absorbed in what we are doing that we lose track of time. As promised, here is the next photo from my trip to Washington State with a borrowed camera. The cool thing about being in Washington was having a very strange experience about the natural world. This past week I was on personal business in Washington State – Seattle to be exact – and unfortunately did not have time allotted for photography. Being a two-day event, I had plenty of time to walk around and get a chance to talk to a lot of the re-enactors and participants, and to make a bunch of portraits. It [ Read More ]
The one most beautiful things about being a nature photographer is that you will always be the student. No matter how many years you spend in the field and how many field guides you memorize and scientific papers you read – every day in the field is a constant reminder of just how much you don’t know! That will always make everyday an adventure!
