Last week I was in Banff, Alberta where I had been attending the AMAZING Second Annual International Landscape Photographers’ Association Summit. On the way home headed westward back to Seattle, I took a curve on a mountain highway near Revelstoke, British Columbia and ran into this incredible view on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway. I just had to find a place to pull over and hike out to get a shot of this enchanted forest. I think I got exactly what I was hoping for….

Just outside of Revelstoke, British Columbia, I just had to wait for the perfect light when I saw this small pond surrounded by lowland trees covered in hoarfrost.
